Location

Roaches Bunkhouse is based in the picturesque Hamlet of upper Hulme in the  beautiful Peak district National Park.  From our doorstep explore the famous Roaches, a five mile gritstone escarpment that boast endless walking  and climbing routes with stunning views over the surrounding countryside. The landscape  is dotted with quaint villages and interesting market towns to explore. The local Market town of Leek is 5  minutes drive and is home to many independent shops, markets and eateries. 

 Upper Hulme is centrally located in the heart of the UK which makes  it easily accessible from anywhere in the UK. It's a great location for teams from all over the country to come together.

Accommodation

The Roaches Bunkhouse can sleep up to 34 guests across 7 bedrooms (1 accessible bedroom and bathroom).  Our bedrooms are made up with cosy and private cabin style single beds.

Our large dining tables can seat all 34 guests and with large lounge, the bunkhouse is perfect for group socialising and team meetings/briefings.

There is a large patio area outside that can be used for team building activities or BBQs. 

Should you require to cook for large groups or hire a private chef, our 2 large kitchens are set up to cater for groups.

Toilets and showers are made up of some individual toilets and shower rooms or male/female cubicle style to suit different needs. 8 toilets and 7 showers in total.

The Roaches Bunkhouse is located close to many fun activities which could be used for team building events.

  • The Roaches - 10 minutes on foot and you will reach the base of the magnificent Roaches. These rock formations stretch for miles across the Peak District countryside and boast some dreamy views and endless walking and climbing trails. Check out Luds Church for a historical walk or Three Shires Head for a spot of wild swimming.
